Middleweight Hector Camacho Jr. (50-3-1, 27 KOs) won a ten round split decision over former world champion Yory Boy Campas (92-15-1, 74 KOs) on Friday night at the Don Haskins Convention Center in El Paso, Texas. Alvarez comes back with win

Kickboxer Guillermo Alvarez out of Rosales Kickboxing Gym and representing Team Mexico, fought in North Carolina last weekend, defeating Team USA fighter Jim Kalab from Chicago by unanimous decision.  Both fighters weighed 125 lbs.   Alvarez advances in world competition and will compete again in Chicago on November 6. Alderete now at Hideout Gym

Near-light heavyweight Mike Alderete has swapped camps, from Bernie Sanchez’s TUFF Gym, to the Romero’s Hideout Gym. Alderete has been there since August and is down to 180 lbs. “I’m thankful for everything Bernie Sanchez has done,” says Alderete. Alderete has a fight in Montreal in December at 173 lbs. Stay tuned.
