Alvarez comes back with win

Kickboxer Guillermo Alvarez out of Rosales Kickboxing Gym and representing Team Mexico, fought in North Carolina last weekend, defeating Team USA fighter Jim Kalab from Chicago by unanimous decision.  Both fighters weighed 125 lbs.   Alvarez advances in world competition and will compete again in Chicago on November 6. Near-light heavyweight Mike Alderete has swapped camps, from Bernie Sanchez’s TUFF Gym, to the Romero’s Hideout Gym.
