Villa still wants Escalante

The attempts to match up Antonio Escalante, of El Paso, and Tomas Villa, of Odessa, Texas, might’ve fallen through, but Villa says he’s willing to face El Paso’s hope-for-a-world-champion at a future date. Camacho defends belt Oct. 30

Amateur boxing card Nov. 7

A USA Boxing-sanctioned amateur boxing card billed as “Saturday Night Fights” is set for Saturday, Nov. 7 at the Club Fusion Teen Center (101 E.
