“Chocolate” in critical...

None of the details are known, but former boxer Rafael “El Chocolate” Labacena is in critical condition after being shot by police officers Saturday night. The January Showtime-televised card at Tingley is shaping up. According to gym reports, two great local showdowns are on the books for the line-up: a four-round rematch between Carlos Sanchez and Arturo Crespin; and a match between the top two welters, Vincent Mirabal and Antonio Ortiz.
