“Battle at the Bosque” updates
Fight Week for Saturday night’s “Battle at the Bosque” begins with Friday’s weigh-in, scheduled for noon at Santa Ana Star Casino.
The full line-up for Saturday night’s card: Scheduled for eight rounds, Albuquerque’s Archie Ray Marquez (10-0, 8 KOs, 1 NC) will take on Rodrigo Aranda (8-14-2, 2 KOs), who’s dropped nine of his last 10 bouts. In the co-main, for a minor WIBA belt at featherweight, Las Vegas’ Amanda Crespin (4-3-1, 3 KOs) takes on Carla Torres (1-1), of Cleveland; Brandi Montoya will debut against Santa Fe’s Natalie Roy (2-0); Taos-born Michael Herrera (1-0, 1 KO) vs. Leonardo Sanchez; Vincent Mirabal (7-0, 1 KO) vs. Trenton Titsworth (3-10-1, 2 KOs), who’s also lost 9 out of his last ten; Timothy Means (1-1) vs. Adrian Lopez (1-0-1, 1 KO); debuters Donald Sanchez vs. Michael Coca-Gallegos (0-8); and Antonio “Tone” Martinez (1-0, 1 KO) vs. John Herrera (1-1).
