A press conference held this afternoon will kick off the official launch of the Oct. 30 card in El Paso, headlining Hector Camacho, Jr. vs. Yory Boy Campas.
There’s a good chance that top super bantamwweight contender Antonio Escalante will be on the Oct. 30 card, held at the Don Haskins Center. Stay tuned.
The Isleta Boxing Club traveled to Kansas last weekend, bringing home the team trophy again. The fight of the night belonged to Luis Montano, who knocked his opponent down three times in two rounds before winning by KO. Luis is currently rated No. 6 in his division by USA Boxing.
An update to the Oct. 24 Mirabal card at Sky City: Las Vegas’ Arturo “Tudy” Crespin (3-1, 1 KO) will go four rounds with unwon Trinidad Murry (0-5).
