Calleros on Sanchez split
Trainer/fighter Fernando Calleros has issued a response on his split with Jessica Sanchez. He writes: ”I would like it known that I support Jessica Sanchez and her decision, I wish her only the best in and out of the ring. There comes a point in a fighters life and career when changes need to be made. I have made alot of mistakes as a trainer and as a man, and understand her decision. We have won the first and only New Mexico female Muay Thai World title together, traveling and fighting wars all over. Those times will be cherished by me forever. Jessica was my first of two professional fighters, and I hold that dearly. I believe Jessica has what it takes to win a world title in boxing, as well, and although I won’t be in her corner, or part of her team, I can’t wait to see that happen one day.”
