Calleros responds to criticism
This just in from Fernando Calleros, trainer of Jessica “Diamond” Sanchez, who is slated to fight for a title of some sort on Feb. 13 against Brittany Cruz in Denver:
“I am proud and excited to announce Jessica “Diamond” Sanchez’s next fight. It will be a boxing fight vs. Brittany Cruz. Did I mention this fight will be for a pro boxing title? With that said, to stop critics in their tracks. I have seen title fights in kickboxing even at the pro debut level. I thought it was just my sport, but it’s not. I have seen some pro female boxing records like say 8-8, 5-5, 3-0 and I can go on, fighting for pro boxing titles. As for Jessica, I believe she is 4-0. Boxrec has her at 1-1-2, but if you have seen her fight, you know she is worthy of fighting for this title.
“I’m getting sick and tired of hearing thing’s like, ‘You’re bringing her up too fast.” Or ‘Why does she box at different weight classes?’, and other crap, so I will say: Say it to my face. I will shut you up very fast. Pro boxing was supposed to be a supplement for her pro Muay Thai. We did not know she had another calling, as well. So critics, she fights the way she fights, because, simply, she is a fighter, damn it, and not a kickboxer or a boxer. We will fight anyone, anytime, 118-124, standing up. That’s why we fought Crespin that way. Everyone said the same ol’ garbage: ’She’s shorter, use your jab, move, make her tired . . . But who the hell wants another kangaroo-style, boring boxer? I’m a fan as well as a trainer and when Jessica fights, she fights and performs and does not disappoint. Yes, I can train her to be a straight boxer – but i won’t.
“To sum all this up. Jessica will be fighting Cruz for a pro boxing title. Jessica “Diamond” Sanchez is a “stand up” fighter,, not a boxer, who will be the first to hold titles in female Muay Thai and boxing here in New Mexico!”

Well Chris, I hope you can put alot of this to stir up some excitement, if you would like to validate the fight and title , his name is Steve out of Colorado, brittaney Cruz trainer and promoter 720-298-1954 if you want to talk to him, I told him I was going to send the announcement and he was all for it. The extra is because of all the bullshit I hear pisses me of,LOL
