Garcia favored to defeat Gomez
According to the latest New Mexico Boxing poll, Elco “The Animal” Garcia is favored to defeat Joe “Ironman” Gomez tonight at the Sky Ute Casino in Ignacio, Colo. 57% of polltakers think Garcia to win – 41% by KO and 16% by decision. Less than half – 43% – favor Gomez, 25% by decision and 18% by knockout. The casino expects a sell-out crowd at the newly-built Events Center, which holds 1,600.
