On behalf of the local fight scene, NewMexicoBoxing.com wishes top boxing and MMA trainer Mike Winkeljohn a speedy recovery for his torn cornea. A freak accident in the gym has rendered one of Winkeljohn’s eye sightless. It will remain that way while it heals, at least until an operation can be performed, sometime next year.
