From the U.S. Nationals in Colorado Springs: On Tuesday, El Paso’s Stephanie Han decisioned (18-8) Katonya Fisher, of Bakersfield, Calif., at 132; Las Cruces’ Rita Martinez lost by decision (14-5) to Yolanda Ezell, of Los Angeles; and Albuquerque’s Marcus Pena retired in the third to Abel Ramos, of Eloy, Ariz., at 141 lbs.
On Wednesday: Las Cruces’ Siju Shabazz decisioned (21-20) Javonta Charles, of Collierville, Tenn. at heavyweight; and El Paso’s Stephanie Han defeated Yolanda Ezell, of Los Angeles, at 132.
