From the Isleta Casino & Resort for tomorrow night’s Fresquez-promoted “Bad Blood” card:

Holly Holm 139.4 vs. Melissa Hernandez 134.75
* For the WIBA world welterweight title. Holm, originally 140.5, came back after 30 minutes in the steamroom.
Jodie Esquibel 101.8 vs. Suzannah Warner 101.5
* For the NABF minimumweight title. Esquibel, originally 102.5, came back after 30 minutes in the streamroom.
David Proa 122.25 vs. Robert Guillen 122.75
Amanda Crespin 124.5 vs. Jessica Sanchez 128.25
Michael Brooks 177 vs. Christian Bruffy Holmes 176.5

Plenty of drama at today’s weigh-in: Despite weighing in earlier in the morning on the same exact scale, at 137.5, Holm was a half-pound over, as was Jodie Esquibel. The scale was not suspect – but a shifty, unleveled stage where the weigh-in was held, was. When Esquibel re-weighed herself after sweating in the steamroom for 30 min., she was still .25 overweight – but when the scale was moved approximately three inches, on a the clearly uneven stage, she was .2 underweight.

During the pose-off, Hernandez presented Holm, whom she’d been calling “The Rabbit,” a bundle of carrots to munch on after the weigh-in. The incident failed to amuse Holm.
