Holm-Hernandez heats up

Melissa “El Huracan” Hernandez, who challenges Holly Holm Dec. 4, certainly had the gift of gab at a press conference held at Isleta Resort & Casino. “The tall will fall,” she told the media. “Holly is not the pound-for-pound best. I am No. 1. I am woman’s boxing. She may have the judges and the referees and the hometown on her side, but her run-in and hit-and-hold style is no match for me. I am declaring rabbit season on Holly Holm.” As expected, Holm was entirely respectful and would not counter Hernandez’s smack talk, saying only that it would serve as motivation for training.
