J/Os set for the weekend
The New Mexico Junior Olympics state championships will be held May 1st and 2nd (3rd, if needed). Weigh-ins are at 7 a.m. to 10 Friday and Saturday and at 8 a.m. Sunday, if needed. Pairings will follow weigh-ins and physicals will be at 5 p.m. First bell is at 6 p.m. All boxers are invited to fight in the event, not just tournament entrants. This event is being hosted by The Ultimate Fighting Force (TUFF) of Albuquerque at the Raymond G. Sanchez Community Center on 4th St., just north of Alameda.
