Marquez prepares for “Lion Hart”
Team Marquez today announced that Archie Ray Marquez (12-0, 8 KOs) is wrapping up training for his June 10th Showtime televised bout with undefeated (13-0-1) Art “Lion Hart” Hovannesyan of Armenia. Juan Santiago of Denver, Archie’s last opponent on Showtime’s “The New Generation” will serve as his chief sparring partner in his last week of preparation, a win for the # 11 WBA world ranked Marquez is expected to propel Marquez into the top 10 and from prospect to world title contender. Marquez will face Hovhannesyan at the Chumash Resort and Casino in Santa Ynez, California.
