Marquez to face Amaro
Top N.M. prospect Archie Ray Marquez (4-0, 4 KOs) will be facing Alberto Amaro (4-3, 1 KO), of Puerto Rico, on July 11. The date marks a new beginning for Marquez, who is coming off an eight-month suspension by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for using diuretics. The return bout is part of the undercard of the Vic Darchinyan vs. Joseph Agbeko card at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Fla., promoted by Gary Shaw.
