Marquez wins majority decision
Archie Ray Marquez (9-0, 7 KOs) won a majority decision tonight over veteran Andres Ledesma (15-16) at the Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez, Calif. Scores were 58-56 twice and 57-57. Marquez, who was entered the top 40 jr. lightweights in the WBC’s ratings, at No. 40, recently, will co-headline the Jan. 29 Tingley card promoted by Gary Shaw Productions.
