Montano reaches next level
The Warriors Boxing Club’s Luis Montano has returned home to N.M. a champ, after winning his division, 112 lbs., at the Title Boxing International World Championships held in California. Montano defeated David Harutanyan to get to the finals, then defeated a fighter from New Zealand to score the gold. “We are ready for anybody,” says coach Ray Zamora, “with Luis’ ‘will not lose’ attitude.”
