Munoz, Tapia in Vegas
“Hurricane” Hector Munoz and five-time world champ Johnny Tapia have hit Las Vegas. On Saturday, Munoz, 19-4-1, 12 KOs, takes on undefeated Yoshihiro Kamegai (18-0, 16 KOs) on the Top Rank-promoted card headlining Rafael Marquez vs. Toshiaki Noshioka. Tapia will corner Munoz, who told the media today at a final press conference, that he will stop his opponent.
