Munoz weighs in heavy at MGM

From the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for tomorrow night’s Top Rank card: Taking the fight on just a few days’ notice left “Hurricane” Hector Munoz having to weigh in over the contractual limit of 147 at 149. Though given an hour to make weight, it looked as if acting manager Johnny Tapia had worked out a deal to settle for 148. Munoz’s opponent, Yoshihiro Kamegai, of Japan, was 146.
