“Northern Invasion” officially announced

The five-bout “Northern Invasion” card headlining Holly Holm was officially announced today at Hard Rock of Albuquerque. The Fresquez Productions card headlines Albuquerque’s Holm (24-1-3, 7 KOs), who will defend her IBA jr. welterweight belt against Canadian threat Jaime “The Hurricane” Clampitt (21-4-1, 7 KOs).
In the co-main, Randy “Savage” Arrellin (4-3, 3 KOs), of Albuquerque, will take on former Matthew Esquibel foe Luis Cervantes (7-5-3, 2 KOs), of Cathedral City, Calif. The remaining lineup: In a six-round middleweight bout, Carlos “El Gallo” Sanchez (5-1, 2 KOs), of Albuquerque, takes on undefeated Coloradoan John Grimaldo (4-0, 3 KOs); Albuquerque featherweight Nohime Dennison (3-1) vs. TBA; and Los Lunas fighter Joe Salazar takes on fellow debuter Yordan Perez, of Albuqerque.
