Oct. 27 El Paso card finalized; Abie, Jen Han represent border town

It was Bob Arum’s Top Rank that brought legendary champions Oscar De La Hoya, Eric Morales, Floyd Mayweather and Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. to El Paso in years past.

The tradition of bringing top prospects to El Paso continues Saturday, October 27 at the El Paso County Coliseum. Top Rank’s Hall of Fame matchmaker, Bruce Trampler, has announced the final FIGHT CARD. World Ranked Alejandro Lopez (Tijuana, Mexico…23-2) battles former world champion Takalani Ndlovu (South Africa…33-7) in the main event. The Lopez vs Ndlovu fight is scheduled for twelve-rounds and will be an IBF World Title Elimination bout, with the winner becoming the #1 World Ranked super bantamweight.

On the seven-bout undercard, undefeated Abie Han (17-0) and World ranked Jennifer Han (8-1-1), will represent El Paso in separate bouts. The remainder of the undercard is loaded with quality Top Rank prospects, including five with a combined record of 72-0.

TICKETS are priced at $15 to $50 and are on sale now at the Coliseum Box Office, Ticketmaster Outlets and ticketmaster.com.

Abie Han, featured in the Semi-Main event bout, will be taking on Arsenio Terrazas (9-2, Mexicali, Mx) in an 8-round Middleweight match-up. Jennifer Han is scheduled for 4 rounds in the Super Featherweight Division against Claudia Gutierrez (2-1, Chico, Ca.).
