Proa foe named for March 26 – Big local undercard set

Albuquerque knockout artist David Proa (7-1 , 7 KOs), fresh off a fourth round stoppage of former national amateur champion Adam Ochoa (2-1, 1 KO), Jan. 29, steps back in the ring March 26 to face a more experienced fighter in heavy-handed Dominican Jonathan Arias (9-6, 8 KOs) in a six-round bantam clash. Arias is on a five bout (five-KO) winning streak since losing a 12 round split decision to undefeated  Donis Garcia for the Dominican bantamweight title.  Originally, Fresquez Productions targeted a rematch with Robert Guillen, whom defeated Proa in December, but the fight was turned down. Also on the undercard March 26:

Duke City welterweight Josh “Pitbull” Torres (3-1, 2 KOs)  is pitted against undefeated Chase Corbin (2-0, 2 KOs) of Tucson, Ariz. in a four-round welterweight bout.

Salvador Zamora (4-2), now fighting out of Albuquerque, faces Randy Arrellin (2-2, 1 KO) also of Albuquerque in a four-round super featherweight bout.
