Proa foe pulls out; Arrellin in, Piar out
Once again, Albuquerque powerhouse David Proa (5-0, 5 KOs) is opponentless. After several opponents were secured, then lost, the latest, comebacking Joseph Salazar (5-4, 3 KOs), has backed out of the fight with Proa set for Saturday night on the Romero Promotions card at Sky City Casino in Acoma.
Sammy Piar (1-0, 1 KO) has also pulled out of the card, due to a broken nose sustained in training. Piar has been replaced by Randy Arrellin (0-1), who seeks to get back on track after a kayo loss to Raymond “Hollywood” Montes in his debut.
