Proa or Ochoa?
For one fighter, it means redemption. For the other, it’s a chance to add a big win over a big puncher to an undefeated record. Knockout artist David Proa (6-1, 6 KOs), of Albuquerque, says he is in shape this time, unlike last time when he retired on his stool after two rounds. “I’m in great shape and have been training my hardest,” says Proa. “This is going to be a great fight.” Proa’s opponent, Texas amateur standout Adam Ochoa (2-0, 1 KO), of Amarillo, is not concerned about Proa’s kayo record. “His knockout ratio is of no concern at all. I’ll take what little I know of him to my advantage. Do I have a plan? We’ll see what he comes out with in round one.” The two meet tomorrow night on the Tingley card. First bell is at 6:30. Doors open at 5:30.
