Saturday night at the Raymond G. Sanchez Community Center Judgement MMA hosted its inaugural show. All the bouts were kickboxing and all the bouts were action packed. Check out the results, photos coming soon. . .
Tough veteran Jorge Garcia (Mean1) pulled out a split decision win against Dorian Dixon (Rosales) in the main event of the evening. In the co-main event Brandon Jones and Chris Ciavella traded KO’s, Jones scoring three and Ciavella two. Jones won by the fight by split decision. Andrew Tenneson (Jacksons) made short work of Silvino Salgado (Team Roswell) connecting with a spectacular right kick to the jaw and winning by KO at 0:18 of the first round. Daniel Garcia (Team Roswell) pulled out a tough split decision win against the much taller Alex Lagutin (Mean 1) . Scott Goforth (Mean 1) won by unanimous decision against Wesley Bartlett (Team Roswell). Gabe Lopez (Monsivaiz) was able to outlast Ryan Webb (Jacksons) and pull out the unanimous decision win. Justin Archuleta (Mean 1) survived the barrage of punches coming from Robert Gomez (Anstice Combat) in the first one and a half rounds and won by split decision. Chris Lopez (Monsivaiz) landed a straight right to head of Tim Caron (Jacksons) and put him down for the count at 1:27 of the first round. Shaun Henson (Rosales) had a tough time against Frank Martinez (Team Roswell), but won by unanimous decision after three. Two hard right kicks to chin ended the night for Warren Moore (Anstice Combat) and gave the TKO win to Robbie Torres (Mean 1) at 0:41 of the first round. In the night’s only female bout Lorna Johnson (Jacksons) outhustled and outlanded Marci Duran (Chavez) to win by split decision. In another short bout, Martin Manrique (Mean 1) landed a hard right hook to end the night for Rick Mitchell (Independent) at 0:46 seconds of the first round. In the curtain raiser, John Bindel (Jacksons) took a majority decision win against Ricky Esquibel (WPG) with scores of 28-28, 29-26 and 30-27.
