(Press release) After four weeks of preliminary training in El Paso conducted with second trainer, Herman Delgado, David “Nino” Rodriguez shifts gears and starts his second stage of training in preparation of his June 24 fight at the Don Haskins in El Paso.

Arriving in Las Vegas, Rodriguez, Chief trainer Rafael Garcia and assistant trainer Rafael Jr. make preparations for Rodriguez’s toughest fight to date.  Rodriguez will be facing off against former title challenger Owen “What the Heck” Beck.  Rodriguez informed us that “It is only been a week of training in Vegas and things are coming together. My timing, speed and overall atmosphere in training camp are great.  I know I am fighting a very experienced fighter in Beck, but I am training very hard and will not let my hometown of El Paso, or my fans down. I am coming to win.”

Superfight III brought to you by Z. Entertainment in association with Nino Bravo Productions and UTEP Presents. Sponsored in part by TECATE and Holiday Inn Hotels, tickets are available at TicketMaster or the UTEP Box office.
