Santa Ana card slated for Aug. 14
A press conference on Tuesday will officially announce an August 14 card at Santa Ana Star Center in Bernalillo, N.M., promoted by Eagle Boxing and Golden Girl Promotions. In the main event, undefeated Thaddine Swifteagle Johnson (5-0, 5 KOs), who’s been training at Floyd Mayweather’s gym in Las Vegas, Nev., is expected to fight for her first world title. In the co-main, between former Holly Holm opponents – well, one of ‘em a would-be opponent – Albuquerque’s Victoria Cisneros (5-9-1) will take on Melissa Hernandez (12-2-2, 4 Kos) of Bronx, New York, in what will probably be a title fight at lightweight.
