Silver Gloves set for this weekend
Crespin’s Boxing will host this year’s New Mexico Silver Gloves Tournament, from December 11-13 at Crespin’s Boxing Gym (900 West Valencia) in Las Vegas, N.M. Weigh-ins will be 8 a.m. to 11 on the 11th and 12th; matchups at 11 and physicals at 4 p.m. First bout starts at 6 p.m. on the 11th and 12th. If there’s a need, the tourney will roll over onto Sunday with weighins at 7 a.m., physicals at 9 a.m. and first bout at noon. For more info contact Carlos Crespin at 505.429.4068 or 505.425.1422. Tickets will be $12 for adults; $8 for students and children under 5 are admitted free. An LBC election will also be held during the tournament, on the 11th or 12th. Regional Silver Gloves are on the 7th through 10th of January, in California.
