U.S. Open Regional info
All participants/coaches fighting in the upcoming U.S. Open Regional Tournament need to contact State Coach Ric Ponce’ via email: ricponce1@yahoo.com or phone @ 575-621-2961. Organizers need to know name, age, weight, and shirt size of boxers advancing in the tournament. Furthermore, all boxers fighting to advance to the National Tournament need to be at the Isleta Recreation Center at 6:45 am for roll call. Weigh-ins will be promptly at 7:00 am on the 11th and 12th of June, the day of the tournament. Weigh-ins will be done one state team at a time. All team members of that particular state must be present at the time their state is called to weigh-in. Any boxer not present at the time their state team is called will be disqualified. Any boxer that is overweight will have until 9:00 am to make weight. USA Boxing National packets will be handed out to all winners and must be completed in full.
