Villanueva is back!
Albuquerque’s Willie Villanueva (9-1, 2 KOs) is not only back, but down to his lightest, fighting trim ever. Following his lone defeat, at the hands of Lorenzo Estrada last year, Villanueva took time off to regroup, only to resurface at the Romero’s Hideout Gym. Now, walking around at featherweight, Villanueva will return to the ring on July 11 on a card in Tucson, Ariz., at 122 pounds. Photo by Chris Cozzone.
